Reliability

A belief meets the minimum standard for reliability if the following conditions are met:

  1. One is able to consistently perceive evidence in favor of this belief.
  2. One is not able to consistently perceive evidence contrary to this belief.
  3. The belief is coherent with other beliefs that are the result of consistent perception with an equal or greater degree of directness.
