Reliability

A belief meets the minimum standard for reliability if the following conditions are met:

One is able to consistently perceive evidence in favor of this belief.
One is not able to consistently perceive evidence contrary to this belief.
The belief is coherent with other beliefs that are the result of consistent perception with an equal or greater degree of directness.

Build bridges between communities and peoples with different ideologies and worldviews

Study the dysfunction in public discourse and recommend new methods of dialogue

Work toward peace in our global society through reason, understanding and empathy

Explore the frontier where the mind meets the social landscape

Promote inner peace through awareness and mindfulness

Encourage lifelong learning for all citizens and active participation in public life

1. Establish partnerships with public-benefit organizations that have a presence in local communities.

2. Help these organizations coordinate local in-person events to promote lifelong learning for all citizens.

3. Help train community leaders and event facilitators.

4. Curate and distribute educational materials, including videos, podcasts, books, and articles.

5. Connect virtually-based content creators and service providers to local organizations, events, leaders, and community members as needed.

6. Work to develop networks of these organizations in various cities, regions, and countries.
